Both brands will continue to exist and over time everything will evolve to T-Mobile. Beginning August 2, both companies will begin unifying under the T-Mobile brand for the first time. While T-Mobile will emerge as the combined companies' flagship brand in retail, web and advertising, Sprint customers will experience a slower transition, seeing the brands represented as a combined company in their direct communications and on the website when doing Sprint account maintenance. Account maintenance and management will not change for Sprint customers at this time!

Until we integrate our billing systems, each customer will continue to receive either a Sprint or T-Mobile invoice. If you already have service with both Sprint and T-Mobile, you will continue to receive two separate invoices until the billing systems are combined.

We value our relationships with our Indirect Business Partners. We will be reaching out to each of them individually to discuss the many new and exciting opportunities ahead of us all with T-Mobile.

As a Sprint customer, there’s no need to move to T-Mobile, you can activate your new device and new line on your Sprint account and keep the same rate plan.

Now that Sprint and T-Mobile are one company, do I get the same Un-carrier benefits as T-Mobile customers, like Netflix?
Rate plans that include Netflix are not currently available in the Sprint systems. If you wanted to move your account over to T-Mobile, you should work with a Retail Mobile expert to see if that option is available for you. If we are able to move you over, you will choose from T-Mobile available rate plans.
If I move from Sprint to T-Mobile, does this still count as a new line for T-Mobile offers now that the merger is complete?
No, as of 8/2 Sprint and T-Mobile are operating as one company so a move won’t constitute a new account. But, we have great offers available for all our customers whether you’re looking for a new rate plan or a new device. One of our Mobile Experts can help you explore which options are best for you.
If I move from Sprint to T-Mobile, can I transfer my device financing now that the merger is complete?
No, not at this time. You will have to have satisfied all your financial obligations on your devices along with some additional eligibility and compatibility if you want to move your whole account over to T-Mobile. One of our Mobile Experts can help you understand the requirements.
Am I able to keep Hulu, Tidal, and other Sprint benefits I currently take advantage of on my existing plan?
Yes! Existing Sprint rate plans will remain as they are for now. We’re working on exciting new benefits in the future. Stay tuned!
What if I want to change my rate plan? Can I still do that on my Sprint account?
Yes, as a Sprint customer, we still continue to offer the Unlimited Basic, Plus or Premium rate plans. Or, we also recently launched the Sprint Essentials rate plan, available to Sprint customers.
Can I still add a new line to my Sprint account?
Yes, customers with existing Sprint accounts can add lines.
If I move to T-Mobile now, will my Sprint tenure carry over?
Right now, if you are happy with your Sprint service, there is no reason for you to make any changes to your account. You will stay with the same Sprint network and service you’ve been using. If you wanted to move your account over to T-Mobile, you should work with a Retail Mobile expert to see if that option is available for you. If we are able to move you over, yes your tenure would carry over.
